Daniel Dever Ph.D. is Head of Preclinical Research at a stealth advanced therapies company in San Francisco, California and a scientific co-founder, advisor, and board member of NV Therapeutics.

Danny has over 10 years of experience in cell and gene therapy development. As an Instructor at Stanford University, his research on hematopoietic stem cells contributed to the founding of Graphite Bio. As co-founder and Head of Discovery & Preclinical Research at Graphite, he led programs that enabled the first clinical trial using homology-directed repair to correct the mutation causing sickle cell disease.
